Things I've Been Loving This Fall / Autumn

Hey Guys,

I feel like it's been a while since I've actually written a post! So, today I woke up with a real longing to write. Maybe it's the fact that it's pretty chilly and all I want to do is sit in cozy, comfy wear and stay inside or just that it has been quite literally forever since I've shared a post with you guys! I know I've been filming a lot lately and I do really want to keep that up because I feel like you see more of my personality on film than you do in writing. However, I would love to do more spontaneous posts like these on the side! This has literally just been typed as I think so unlike my videos it is- unplanned, unscripted and unedited. Just me and my thoughts, spelling mistakes and all!

Anyway, although I wouldn't call fall my favourite season there are certain aspects of fall lifestyle that I love! So, I decided to list them for you and hopefully you share these small and simple joys too.

♥ Lipstick.

Now I'm not really a lipstick  kinda girl. I've always preferred a bit of lip balm or a girly lip gloss but lately I've taken to lipstick. And not only the berry kind you'd associate with these season but also the peach and the nude shades! Slightly off track but, I've been eyeing up MAC Myth lately and I'm thinking of adding it to my collection, it's a stunning nude! Also, I have really been impressed with MUA, I wrote a post on their lipstick a while back and then as I got older I started using more expensive brands. A few weeks ago I decided to pop into superdrug and buy a few MUA lipsticks again and I have truly been amazed! In particular I have been loving Nectar and Wild Berry (Which I am wearing now!). If you like I could do a video swatching them all for you!

A few of my faves at the moment

♥ Green Tea

I don't really like classic English tea, so when I was younger I decided to rule tea out and say 'I don't like tea'. Little did I know that there was much more that what meets the British eye! Tea's with infused fruits and flowers from around the world! My grandma who comes from Morocco would always make me Moroccan Mint tea which I have always loved which uses just fresh mint leaves and water! I've taken my love for this type of infused tea and broaden my horizons to rose tea, orange blossom tea and my new obsession, green tea! Every morning I start my day with a lovely warm cup of green tea and it just makes me feel so relaxed. Needless to say it's probably much healthier than coffee every morning...

♥ The Girl on The Train

I love a book to read when it starts getting cold and this was one that I literally couldn't put down! I don't want to give too much away because this is one of those books filled with many plot twists but one thing I did love was that it is set in London, which really helped me picture the different scenes and who there characters were because it felt more real and close to home than most books which are placed in America. (not that there is anything wrong with that!)

♥ My Checkered Shirt

If you watched my recent haul video (if not you can watch it here) you will know that I recently bought myself a checkered shirt! I had one a few years ago when they became a massive trend after Bella Swan in Twilight wore them. However they were really baggy and especially on a short girl like myself, unflattering. I looked like a 12 year old wearing my brothers hand-me-downs. However, recently I've really wanted a fitted one as they are much more figure flattering but I couldn't find the perfect one until I went to Italy. I literally live in this shirt now! It is so warm and cozy and perfect for layering! They can also been worn in so many different way and just scream out fall to me!

My wearing the checkered shirt and my current favourite lipstick, MUA, in Wild Berry

♥ PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte)

So, you may not believe this but until last month I was actually a PSL virgin! How did I live so long without PSL in my life?! It is literally SO SO good!! I was scared to try it at first because I was a bit like, why do I want pumpkin in my drink? It's supposed to be roasted and eaten with your potatoes! But once I tried it, there was no going back!! It may even make my top 3 Starbucks drinks. And from a Starbucks addict, that says something.

Love O
x
