All Drugstore (highstreet) Makeup Kit

Hey guys,

It's been a while! I thought I'd make a cute little collage of really good high-street products to put in your makeup bag. This is mainly for people who are new to makeup and not sure what to put in your makeup bag and to help you choose the best products the high-street has to offer as buying makeup for the first time can be quite daunting

Drugstore (highstreet) Makeup Kit
1)
Rimmel Match Perfection is by far one of the best yet mot affordable foundation I have used! If not the best! I use Ivory because my face is pretty pasty and it is perfect, you can't see foundation lines around my face from where my face is  different colour to my neck and it has a lovely healthy, dewy finish. It's not at all dry on your skin and doesn't flake. The only problem for me is because my skin is quite oily it runs a bit, but for everyday it's fine. This can easily be fixed with a setting spray or a base.

2)
The Bourjois bronzing powder is okay. It's not an amazing bronzer, but it's really affordable, smells amazing, is extremely compact and it does the job. I'm not in love with this bronzer, but I love how easy it is to chuck in your makeup bag and carry about. My favourite bronzer is actually called Sunkissed and it's sold in Primark! It works wonders, but it is way too big to put into a make-up bag.

3)
I am not the first person to rave about the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. I heard so many good reviews about it from other bloggers that I bought it myself and I have to say, for the little it costs it is pretty good! I love how radiant it is. For me it hasn't had amazing staying power, but that's because my skin gets quite oily during the day. It a lovely and creamy product which also makes a great eyeshadow base.

4)
Baby Lips are literally my favourite things on this planet. They are genius!! So hydrating yet so pigmented! The best of both worlds! I love that when I wear it, I never feel like I'm really made up; It makes me feel sweet and girly. The colours are beautiful and these two shades are my favourite, Pink Punch is a light pink and Strike a Rose which is a hot coral pink. They also smell amazing and come in the most adorable packaging ever! These are an everyday must have!

5)
Most of Rimmel mascaras are pretty good, but the Scandaleyes are just on point! The way the wand is shaped is perfect, it looks like a weird wave but it makes my mascara go on so well without any clumps! I'm not quite sure what they did differently with this mascara but it is the bullocks!

6)
The Maybelline Hypercosmos are actually supposed to be eyeshadows but the shade PC-1 (what a horrible name?!) makes the most stunning blush and highlighter duo! It is made up of two shades a peachy coral and a baby pink mixed in with iridescent shades of yellow and blue, Sounds gross but it makes the most amazing combination and looks very similar to the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lights Capade. This product however is much smaller, as it is supposed to be an eyeshadow which means it's super easy to carry around and super affordable.

7)
I have been using the Sleek Liquid Eyeliner for years. It's the only liquid liner I ever use and it lasts so long, literally all day without budging! It's also so reasonable and the product last me for around 4-6 months which considering I use it everyday is amazing! Don't be deceived by the small packaging because it really does go a long way.
