FASHION: Primark accessories haul

Heya!
So, I recently went into Primark some spring accessories and came across the following beauties! I've really wanted to add some more pinks and floral themed items into my cupboard to make it a little more girly and as I said in my 'What to buy this spring' post I really wanted to invest in some flats. So I did.
Ps please do forgive my tired, hours of shopping and no make up face!

I think these rings are super cute and ditsy! I especially love the flower and bow one. My main reason for buying this is because my watch is gold with Swarovski crystals and a white strap but all my rings are silver. Clash! So I've been looking for some simple, understated and not OTT rings that will allow me to wear them with my watch for a while.  The best part? They cost me £2!!

Other cute accessories I bought are these packs of earrings and bows which conveniently (it was no accident) go with the rings I bought and cost a total of £3! Ohhhh yeahhhh!
So far I have genuinely used all the earrings as they are light colours which go with everything from monochrome to this seasons trend, pastels. So far I've only used the white bow but when it's warmer I'll be wearing the pink one much more...

As for the flats, these bad boys set me back only £4 and as they are blue they go with pretty much everything in my wardrobe! They are so comfortable and are a really good high street copy cat of Toms Shoes. So if you don't want to pay a ridiculous amount of money which you don't have on a pair of Toms shoes made out of canvas then spend a fraction of the price on a Primark pair. I saw that they also came in a few other colours, notably white but because I was so fascinated with these I honestly can't remember the other colours they came in! Forgive me?! Anyways that's all I bought so that's the end of this haul. What do you guys think? Great spring buys or a waste of cash!

FASHION: uni OOTD

It's not cold but it's not warm either outside. These tartan leggings are cotton so they are really warm and stretchy which is great for walking. I'm teaming it with a collared shirt I recently purchased from Primark which I love for the cute collar and polka dots and as you all know I'm pretty obsessed with the colour blue! I'm going to chuck on a navy jumper so my collar peeps over it and then my leather jacket and I'm good to go!

So last night this happened... Yes, it's as painful as it looks! I have so many things to do this week that it  literally couldn't come at a worse time. Luckily my lovely boyfriend was on hand to help me who was sooo helpful!!

The moral of this story, boys and girls is do not walk in your garden when it's dark because you will trip and do this!!! haha

DIY: Decoupage Room Decor

I recently bought a really cute wooden 'Relax' sign from Primark -for only £1 which I think is a total bargain- and I knew straight away that I wanted to decorate it using decoupage to accesorize my bedroom. I wanted to go for a country-chic theme that goes with my clay coloured room which I've already styled with vintage accesories in pastel blues and pinks. This is how it looks on my shelf! Excuse the poor quality of the image my room has terrible lighting... So without further ado, here is your simple DIY which will really add a personal touch to your bedroom.

What you will need:

♥ Something you want to decorate
♥ Glue
♥ Scissors
♥ Magazines with patterns that you like. I used a winter issue of Homemaker

Guide

♥ First you will need cut out as many patterns and designs as possible from your magazine. You then need to gather all these images and see how well the colours work together, if they clash it won't look nice on the thing you are decorating so chuck it out. Avoid to go for themed patterns unless you are aiming to only use it on a certain time of year. For example the snowman design in the picture would only look good at Christmas and silly during the summer. It also clashes with the blue patterned paper I like. So it was the bin for Mr Snowman. As you can see I also photocopied some manuscript paper to make it extra personal as I play piano. You could try and include any personal theme such as sports, animals, monochrome, plants or your favourite things such as bands, colour, book, film.. The list is endless!

♥ You then want to take your wooden sign or whatever it is you are decorating and map out where you want what. This is the planning stage and it is crucial. Do not skip out this planning process or the final product will simply look messy and rushed, which we don't want.

♥ Once you know roughly how you want your sign to look it is time to decorate it. Prepare to get messy! you need to cut the patters out to size so it fits what you are decorating. I cut the patterns into thin, long strips. Using pritstick or any available glue, stick the strips of paper onto what you are decorating and continue like so.  Once it is fully decorated leave it to dry overnight. When it is dry paint a layer of clear nail varnish on top to make sure the paper firmly stays smooth and to give it a professional shine.

Tidbit

♥ I interwined the musical notes through the letters, added a cute bird wearing a crown on the 'e' and cut out the phrase 'we are so good together' and stuck it along the 'x'.
This adds that extra personal touch to it and makes me love it so much more!

Have fun and get creative with it.

FASHION: What to buy this Spring

Spring is coming so the chunky knits are out and the floral dresses are in! I'm in desperate need of some day and night dresses, shoes and shirts. Hence, I thought I'd share with you guys a few little numbers I'm looking to buy for this season. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty broke at the moment because having a boyfriend and being a cheerleader is so expensive! But it's all in good cause. So, the clothes that I am looking at is student friendly and won't burn too big of a whole in my pocket.

I stumbled across this cute and girly dress on prettylittlething and I love it! I love the colour and I love the shape. It won't let copy the full picture but click here to see it or buy it.

Chiffon dress

The next couple of dresses are from h&m which I love for its affordable yet fashionable clothing. I therefore have a very large amount of h&m clothing! I love the colour red on me but have nothing in red; so I'm on a mission to buy something red this year!

Patterned dress
I also love this cute black and white floral dress. It looks so relaxed and casual and yet rock chic at the same time. This would be great for all weather too because I could add tights, wedges and a leather jacket or sandals and a straw hat for the winter or summer.

These shirts are so cute! I love the transparent section and I don't know why but they remind me of ice cream? Which is a good thing! They are just so perfect for the spring and the summer because it's so casual and loose which leaves you room to breathe and can be teamed with anything! White and black is out of stock which sucks but I really love the pink one and green one although I'll only buy the pink one because green isn't really my colour. At under a fiver these are a total bargain!

I really love the back of this simple crop top! It's so cute!! This could be worn like the model for a casual boho look or with a pencil skirt for a glam night out! This too is under a fiver!! I do love ebay! Honestly, when it comes to buying shirts ebay is the best because it's so affordable and I am rarely left disappointed and if I am, the seller is usually really understanding and offers a refund.

I really like pumps at the moment because they are so comfortable and who doesn't love a bit of feet TLC. Treat your feet to a day without heels with a pair of stylish pumps! Dorothy Perkins have a lovely range of pumps for just £12 which is pretty decent if you ask me! I love these striped ones and I also loved these pastel blue ones!

P.S sorry I've been quite absent this week, I've been really poorly! However, I will try to beat the winter blues and keep up with the blogging!

VALENTINE'S DAY | ASK SPECIAL

2: Have you ever been deeply in love? Yesss
3: Longest relationship you've ever been in? A year and a half
4: Have you ever changed for someone? Never!
5: How is your relationship with your ex? We don't talk!
6: Have you ever been cheated on? Yupp :(
7: Have you ever cheated? No way!
8: Would you date someone who's well known for cheating? Well that would be a bit stupid... so no.
9: What's the most important part of a relationship? Laughter, happiness and trust. I love to have a good time and I think laughter and happiness with your partner all come hand in hand with trust :)
10: Do you like to be in serious relationships or just flings? Serious all the way
11: When you are dating someone do you believe in going on "breaks"? No!!! If you want to be with me you shouldn't want a break because that means you're unsure of our relationship. If so then break up with me!
12: How many people have you ever hooked up with? Cheeky cheeky!
13: What's one thing you regret saying/doing in a previous relationship? Saying yes to taking my ex back!
14: What age do you think is appropriate for kids to start having sex? When they feel mature enough to use the right protection, are in a serious relationship and would be ready to deal with the consequences of an 'accident'.
15: Do you believe in the phrase "age is just a number"? If you really love someone then age shouldn't come in to it. Just don't go for anyone under age because that's pedophilia!
16: Do you believe in "love at first sight"? 100%! I went on one date with my boyfriend and instantly new he was the one!
17: Do you believe it's possible to fall in love on the internet? If you get to know them well enough then you could fall in love with their personality :)
18: What do you consider a deal breaker? Cheating, lying or being violent.

21: Do you think people who have dated can stay friends? If they work very hard at maintaining a friendship and ended their relationship on amicable terms. But from experience no! Haha

24: Do you think love can last forever? Why not?
25: Do you believe love can conquer all things? I wish! But realistically, probably not.
26: Would you break up with someone your parents didn't approve of? Nooo! It's my life and so I will live it the way I want. If I love someone then I will be with him regardless.
27: If you could go back in time and give yourself one piece of advice about dating what would it be? Have fun and relax. Your dream man is on his way!
28: Do you think long distance relationships can work? If you work hard at keeping in contact and trust eachother then yes

30: Are you straight, bi, gay or pansexual? I hate labels! I'm human.
31: Would it bother you if your partner suffered from any mental illness? No. With the amount of talking I do I wouldn't be surprised if he developed one haha
32: Have you ever been in an abusive relationship? Luckily no
33: Do you want to get married one day? Of course! Big white dress and all!
34: What do you think about getting your partner's name tattooed? It's more permanent than marriage!
35: Could you be in a relationship without sex? Of course if I really loved him then we would find other ways to enjoy ourselves.
36: Are you still a virgin? No
37: What's more important: Looks or personality? Personality because when you're an old couple your man won't be good looking anymore. Mine will still be funny!
38: Do you enjoy love films? I love them
39: Have you ever given anyone/received roses? My boyfriend once
40: Have you ever had a valentine? This is my first year! A had one a couple of years ago but I was on a school trip so we didn't really do valentines...

42: Have you ever read "Romeo & Juliet"? Yes
43: What's more important: Your partner or your friends? Both are equally as important! My boyfriend is genuinely one of my bestest friend! I wouldn't be able to chose between him and my other bestie!
44: Would you consider yourself "romantic"? Yeah I'm a sop haha
45: Could you imagine to date one of your current friends? Nope
46: Have you ever been "friendzoned"? Probably!
47: Which "famous couple" is your favorite? It has to be YouTube vloggers Jim Chapman and Tanya Burr. But if Russell Brand and Katy Perry were still together it would have been them!
48: What's your favorite love song? There are loadsss that I love! I'm super soppy! Every breath you take by the police is one of my favourites though
49: Have you ever broken someone's heart? Yes
50: If you're single, why do you think you are?
51: Would you rather date someone who's rich but a douchebag or someone who's poor but a nice guy? How poor? Like a tramp? I'm not sure!
52: Are you good at giving other people advice regarding dating/ relationships? I'd like to think I am!
53: Are you jealous of couples when you're single? Not really. I tend to do my own thing when I'm single and still have fun!
54: How important is it to make a relationship official (p.e. on facebook)? It's not! Me and my boyfriend didn't do it for months! Who cares what your Facebook says! As long as you haven't left it as single then why worry?
55: Would you consider yourself "clingy", "overly attached" or "jealous"? Not really. I guess everyone can have a bit of a green eye problem once in a while but on the whole I think I'm pretty good!
56: Have you ever "destroyed" a relationship? Never!
57: Do you think it's silly to consider suicide because of a broken heart? Yes. If he left you then you deserve someone who will stay through thick and thin and if he or she died then although it may be hard to live a life without him in the present time, time heals everything and he/ she would want to see you living life happily not being suicidal!
58: Are you the "dominant" or the "submissive" part in a relationship? Both! Sometimes I'll be the one to tell him off for being silly but he does the same to me for other things so I'd say we are pretty equal.
59: Have you ever forgotten important dates like your partner's birthday or your anniversary? By accident I said the wrong date but I actually do know the date!
60: What's your opinion on open relationships? I wouldn't want one but if someone else wants one then go ahead, do what works for you.
61: Who's more important: Your partner or your family? Family to begin with. But your partner after a while should become family.
62: How do you define "cheating"? Doing anything from texting to sex which you know would hurt your partners feelings. If you have to delete a message then you're already there.
63: Is watching porn while being in a relationship inappropriate? Nope. He can do what he wants in his free time. He's a boy for gods sake! Just as long as he doesn't cheat.
64: Do you think Valentine's Day is overrated? I think it's lovely. It's a day of love and appreciation. Like Mother's Day but for girl/boyfriends!
65: Would you consider yourself a "cuddler"? Ohhh yeahh!! 100%
